Powerhouse Australia will host Argentina rugby championship on Saturday, and Argentina thinks this may be their time to shine.

Argentina has come close on numerous occasions only to come up just short, but entered the match with a high level of confidence in a number of skilled players to match.

Australia is coming off a tough match against South Africa late last week in the side may feel a bit tired heading into the match with Argentina. However, with rain forecast for Saturday’s the Plumas may have an advantage in the match.

A year ago, Australia earned a narrow victory in Round 4 over Argentina in Perth. That sealed their first points in Rugby Championship.

Simply put, Argentina has more talent and experience that comes to championship battles. With the rugby World Cup on the horizon Argentina can put itself on the map with a victory.

The front row of Argentina fared well against South Africa and focus will be put there from the start on Saturday. The question is will the Wallaby scrum hold up against the likes of Creevy, Ramiro Herrera and Marcos Ayerza.

For Australia the biggest concern is in the scrum. Tatafu Polota-Nau will return which will help. However, he will be faced with Agustin Creevy, one of the standout hookers in the game.

Look for a close match but in the end Australia should prevail, however, this could be one of Argentina’s best opportunities to walk off the field with a victory on Saturday.
